Welcome to this bookish Q and A. I selected a few discussion prompts that I'll give answers to (excited already?). Let's build some sort of friendship...

This could also inspire ideas for a book club discussion or other bookish hangouts. Although this is more like an introduction to our new Q and A series.

Here we go;

Question 1-  What do you love about reading?

Answer - I've always loved to read but what I love most about reading amongst other things is the fact that I get answers.


Question 2- What book(s) were you surprised you ended up liking?

Answer- Business books. I never thought I'd ever yearn for the genre.


Question 3- What fun fact have you learned from reading?

Answer- Hmm... I think it's that I can sort of hold the world in my hands.


Question 4- What bookish items do you love to give as gifts?

Answer- A really good book, highlighters, colorful sticky notes, and a notepad.


Question 5- What book has had a significant impact on your life?

Answer- I'll speak for recently and that's  'The 40-day soul fast'


Question 6- What are some of your favorite books from your childhood?

Answer-  I read a lot of happily ever afters but I can't forget 'The Great Expectations.


Question 7- How do you decide when to get rid of books?

Answer- I really haven't thought about this but if I should I'll donate to libraries.


Question 8- Do you write in books? Why or why not?

Answer- I don't, I think it makes them look untidy.


Question 9- What's your favorite bookish quote?

Answer- Right now, favorites can be limiting.


Question 10-  What recipes from books would you love to try?

Answer- The recipes that would guarantee success.

  Self-evaluation plays an important role on a personal and corporate level. We’ve all been evaluated by people one way or the other, sometimes their judgments are superficial and dependent on the roles that we play.  Long ago, in a faraway land called Sumer near the Persian Gulf, the city was known as the cradle of civilization.  When their businesses began to bloom such that the administration and calculations of trade numbers or purchases could no longer be done by memory, causing a drag in their mode of operations. This disruption motivated a creative Sumerian to create a solution to the problem which brought about the art of writing. Writing was introduced to the system primarily for record-keeping. Although writing started with symbols (pictograph) and inscriptions on local materials such as clay and reeds.
